Keyholding Service

Keysec 24’s security officers are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and respond to both emergency and non-emergency call outs. Keys are retained in our 24 hour control room. They are stored in a secure safe, and only Keysec’s trained personnel have access to the safe. All of our keyholding services meet BS7984:2008 standards, providing you with total peace of mind that you are receiving a secure and reliable service.

Keyholding Benefits

The primary benefit of using a keyholding service is, of course, security. You are able to keep a key stored securely off-site, and this can be accessed and used for any emergency or routine call out. This type of service proves invaluable when alarms go off during the night or when nobody else is on call. It also means that if an alarm is sounded, then it doesn’t fall on a member of staff or untrained team member to have to respond to a potentially dangerous situation. If your premises or grounds are left unmanned or vacant for any period of time, then utilising a reliable key holding service should be considered essential.

Keysec Keyholding

Keysec 24 background checks all security personnel and security guards. We have a secure control room that is operational 24 hours a day, where your keys will be stored when not in use. All of our practices and standards are designed to meet and exceed BS7984:2008 standards and we provide keyholding to Preston, Lancashire, and North West based companies.

Open And Close Services

Open and close services are a specific form of key holding. Our trained personnel will unlock and open your premises in the morning, ready for your employees to start work, and we can lock up at the end of the day. This eliminates pressure on employees, that might not want the added pressure of being a keyholder, and it provides you with total peace of mind that comes from using a reputable security service.

Keyholder Responses

Keyholding services are often combined with additional property security services to create and offer a total package. As well as opening and closing premises, our trained security personnel can respond to alarms and liaise with emergency services in the event of a break-in or if damage has occurred. Our security patrols can also be provided with access to a key to the property, so if they see anything suspicious then they can respond accordingly.

Security Personnel

The quality of a keyholding and security service is only as good as the quality of the personnel behind it. At Keysec 24 we take your security seriously. We only employ qualified and trained personnel, which means that every emergency response and every open and close service will be backed by efficient security officers.

A rapid response to an alarm can prevent burglars and vandals from causing sizeable loss or getting away with products and belongings from your property. While security patrols help maintain a visible security presence to deter many criminals, and can also be called on to respond to emergency alarms, only keyholders can truly respond to these emergencies.

Our trained and SIA accredited security guards not only respond to emergencies but can be on hand to open and secure premises for checks, for maintenance, and for other routine engagements.
